If stock is surfaced green it is made larger than the dressed size of dry stock so that when it dries and shrinks it will be the same size as the dried stock. Softwood lumber is sold in standard lengths of two-foot multiples ranging from 8 ft. to 24 ft. Some special types, such as precut studs, are cut to the exact desired length. Our Dimensional lumber stock also includes pressure treated, cedar, and rough planks. We are also able to get in any lumber related product that we don�t regularly stock (i.e. FSC lumber, FireTreated lumber, BluWood, etc). We are well pleased with the overall service performance provided by Argo Lumber.
